The asset commitment of the corporate foundation
The doctoral project deals with the corporate foundation and in particular with its asset commitment.
Inspired by the discussion about a legal form with tied assets, it examines the extent to which the model of the corporate foundation as an existing and popular legal construct would make the introduction of such a legal form unnecessary. As sustainability aspects are also being discussed in the debate about a new legal form, the research into the corporate foundation also raises the question of whether this legal form already makes or can make a contribution to the sustainability debate.
The doctoral project also examines the existing weaknesses of the construct and proposes reform considerations.
